The Little Giant APCP-1700 Pool Cover Pump automatically turns on in 2" of water and deactivates in 1-1/2" of water. The pump comes with a permanent-split capacitor (PSC), low energy consumption, 1/3 HP motor that is mounted within the unit. The Little Giant APCP1700 Pool Cover Pump has a 1" FNPT discharge and includes an adapter to attach a garden hose. Made for use right out of the box, all you have to do is place the unit onto your pool cover and watch the Little Giant Pool Cover Pump do all the work.
